Coffin Gym

The Coffin Gym and Gerald F. Cox Court are home to the Mariners Men's and Women's Basketball programs. On January 11, 2020, the College of Coastal Georgia dedicated the naming of the court to former coach and Athletic Director Gerald F. Cox. Cox had a long and successful 32 year career at the helm of the men's basketball program, leading the program to seven Georgia College Athletic Association conference championships and took two teams to the NJCAA national championship tournament. As a result of his accomplishments, in 2014, CCGA honored Coach Cox by naming him "Men's Basketball Head Coach Emeritus".
