Coastal Georgia tennis teams faced their toughest test of the season Friday afternoon at the Marta B. Torrey Tennis Complex, with both squads falling to Keiser opponents. The men's team lost 4-0, while the women's squad fell 5-0.
Men's Tennis: Keiser 4, Coastal Georgia 0
The men's team (10-3, 3-1 SUN) battled the Seahawks (9-1, 4-0 SUN) in a competitive conference match at home.
Matthew Dubas and Didrik Liljekvist edged Salvador Pons Medina and Artur Pons Medina 7-5 in a tight No. 1 doubles match, while Oliver King and Andrej Krajcik secured the doubles point with a 6-4 victory over Geronimo Gonzalez Dolci and Caspar Grylls at No. 2 doubles.
In singles play, Shaheed Alam defeated Gonzalo Tano 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2, Felipe Rivadeneira edged Salvador Pons Medina 7-5, 6-1 at No. 3, and Oliver King defeated Geronimo Gonzalez Dolci 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4.

Women's Tennis: Keiser 5, Coastal Georgia 0
The women's team (9-4, 2-2 SUN) saw their seven-match winning streak come to an end against Keiser (11-1, 3-1 SUN) in conference play.
Keiser claimed the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3. Violet Apisah and Patricia Apisah defeated Karlie Scott Kersey and Gabriella Rodrigues 6-2 at No. 1, while Alexandra Melnikova and Lena Couto topped Manon Baudet and Freya Zayyan 6-1 at No. 3.
In singles competition, Violet Apisah defeated Scott Kersey 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1, Alexandra Melnikova topped Gabriela Miteva 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2, Patricia Apisah defeated Luna Feillon 6-2, 6-0 at No. 3, and Ella Sahnis topped Gabriella Rodrigues 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4.
Both Coastal Georgia teams faced strong conference opponents and will look to build on the experience as they continue their spring campaigns.
