Prior to Coastal Georgia: Spent two seasons at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC)... Was named named First Team All-Conference and First Team  All-Region in both her freshman and sophomore seasons... Also named to the Region XI All-Tournament Team both seasons and was named the ICCAC Athlete of the Week twice... Academically, Sara was named a First Team Academic All-Region member for the Fall and Spring, an NJCAA All-Academic First Team member and a member of the Dean's List her freshman year and a First Team Academic All-Region member in the fall and a member of the Dean's List her sophomore year... Recorded 1,778 assists (7.94 assists per set) in her two seasons with the Bears...

Personal: Daughter to Brent & Julie Hansen and Jim & Amy Kaus... Sister to Sadie, Emily and Hannah... Favorite athletics memory is making it to State her junior year of high school... Grew up on a dairy farm in Iowa.
