Brandon Youmans enters his fifth season as the Assistant Coach for the Mariners under Mike Cook. He is also the Head Golf Professional at King and Prince Golf Club and has spent his entire career in all facets of golf. With 24 years’ experience in teaching, coaching and club operations, Brandon has built a solid career foundation by focusing on long-term networking. Building relationships, and using his talents as a golf instructor, along with coaching and playing competitively are the cornerstones of Brandon’s interests. 

Prior to joining King and Prince Golf Club, Brandon worked for Sea Palms Resort as the VP of Club Operations, as well as Sea Island Company in the roles of Assistant Professional, First Assistant Professional, and spent his last 5 years as Head Golf Professional at Sea Island Retreat Club.

Over his career as both a Coach and PGA Class “A” member, Brandon has served on the Board of Directors for the East Chapter of the Georgia PGA, as well as the Georgia Section PGA.  He recently won the 2024 Georgia PGA Pro-Pro Championship. Other awards include Assistant Professional of the Year in 2006 and 2010, Junior Golf Leader of the Year 2011, Youth Player Development Leader 2015, and Golf Professional of the Year in 2016. Brandon has also been the Assistant Coach for the Mariners in four NAIA National Championships in the years 2021,2022, 2023, and 2024 respectively.

Aside from being a leader in the Golf Industry, Brandon still enjoys playing competitively, being socially active in the Golden Isles, and small business consulting with industry contacts on various projects. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time being the father of his two children Molly Kate (15) and Stewart (11).
