BRUNSWICK, Ga.- The Coastal Georgia women's tennis team (1-1, 0-1), like the men's, will be competing in three matches over the next three days in Hilton Head Island, S.C. beginning with Lawrence Technological University (1-9, 0-0) on Wednesday, Mar. 8 beginning at 12:30 p.m. as part of the PTR Spring Tennis Fest.

The Mariners, who are receiving votes, are coming off their first win of the season after taking down Wartburg College 7-0 on Friday in Hilton Head.

Freshmen Paula Cigarran and Danielle Silvan picked up their first collegiate wins, and for Silvan, the win came in her hometown in front of friends and family.

Ana Gonzalez also got back on track, winning at the No. 1 line, and is now 9-2 all-time in singles matches as a Mariner.

Newcomers Lisa McKenzie and Chloe Do Lago recorded their first wins as Mariners at the No. 2 and No. 5 line, respectively.

The only other returner, along with Gonzalez, Azul Malatini is 2-0 so far this season with both her wins coming at the No. 6 line.

After their match against Lawrence Technological University, the Mariners will face Morningside University on Thursday, Mar. 9 at 1 p.m. and then Missouri Valley College on Friday, Mar. 10 at 12:30 p.m.
