AVE MARIA, Fla. - It was a tough day in the office for the Coastal Georgia women's tennis team as they fell 4-0 to the Ave Maria Gyrenes on Sunday afternoon.  

The day started with the (RV) Gyrenes (3-8, 2-2 TSC) taking the doubles point, winning at the first two lines by a 6-2 and 6-4 respectively.  

Ana Gonzalez fell in straight sets at the No. 1 line, while Danielle Silvan was fighting at the second line when the match was called, winning her first set 6-4, falling 6-0 in the second, and trailing 1-0 in the third. Lateitia Grand was also battling into a third set when the match was called, dropping her first set 6-2, but was up 5-2 in the second. Azul Malatini was battling in her second set after dropping the first set 6-4, she bounced back and was tied 3-3 with Nicolle Koop when the match was called. The Gyrenes took lines one, four, and six in straight sets, ending the match at 4-0.  

The Mariners (2-4, 0-2 TSC) will turn around and travel to Hialeah to take on Florida National on Monday afternoon. First serve is set for 12:00 p.m.
