The College of Coastal Georgia Men's Golf team secured a commanding victory over SCAD-Savannah in a head-to-head match held at the Golf Club at Sanctuary Cove. The Mariners posted an impressive team score of 5-under par, besting SCAD by 20 strokes in the 6-man, count-4 format.
Antonio Juarbe led the way for CCGA, continuing his stellar fall season with a remarkable round of 7-under par. Jake Ackerman followed with a solid 1-under, while Bo Shuler (+1) and Finley Burke (+2) rounded out the scoring.
"Antonio played exceptionally well… A good tune-up for the TWU Bojangles Fall Classic," said Head Coach Mike Cook following the win.
The Mariners return to action October 18–19 at the TWU Bojangles Fall Classic, hosted by Tennessee Wesleyan University in Vonore, Tennessee. The 54-hole tournament will feature 15 teams and marks one of the final events of the Mariners' fall schedule.
