SAVANNAH, Ga. - It was a rough trip up I-95 for the College of Coastal Georgia men's tennis team as they fell 4-0 to the number 11 ranked SCAD-Savannah Bees on Wednesday night.Â
Â
SCAD-Savannah (5-2, 1-0 SUN) went right to work taking the doubles point, winning the first two lines to take the first point of the match over the Mariners (1-3, 0-1 SUN).Â
Â
Moving into singles play, it was not much better for the Mariners as SCAD took lines two, three, and six in quick fashion to wrap up the match quickly.Â
Â
The loss to SCAD-Savannah by the men's tennis team was the first loss to the Bees in school history. CCGA returns to action on Monday, March 3, when they host the Huntington Foresters at Marta B. Torrey Tennis Complex.Â
