The Mariners (5-9, 1-2 SUN) surprised most in the league by taking down a top 25 team in conference play, something they had been struggling to do all season long. A force for the men so far this season has been their number one singles player Ciriaci. The freshman is now 6-4 in singles on the season and has won three matches in a row. Tano has also improved from a season ago and has posted a record of 7-4 on the season so far primarily at line four.
The Mariners return to action this weekend in Florida when they take on Keiser on Friday and St Thomas on Saturday.
