BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Despite winning their regular season finale, the College of Coastal Georgia women's tennis team saw their 2024-25 season come to a close on their home courts in the final weekend of the regular season.

The Mariners (5-12, 1-6 SUN) snapped a lengthy losing streak in their senior day win over the Royals to end their 2024-25 season on the right foot. Kersey finished her freshman season 11-2 in singles play, tying Nicole Faas and Kristina Polakovic for the fourth most wins in a single season in school history, becoming the first Mariner to win 11 or more matches in a single season since 2013-14. Adding in her seven doubles wins on the season, Kersey finished with 19 total wins over the two sides, good for a tie of 10th all time in school history. Malatini finishes her Mariners career with 22 total wins, good for sole possession of sixth all time in school history.
The Mariners end their 2024-25 season with a 5-12 overall record and a 1-6 record in Sun Conference play.
