Coastal Georgia men's tennis rebounded from their morning loss to Georgia Gwinnett with a 5-0 victory over Earlham Thursday evening, sweeping all completed matches to close out a challenging day with a win.
The Mariners claimed the doubles point with dominant performances at the bottom two positions. Leonard Daguinot and Caspar Grylls blanked Pedro Conci and Zinead Purbo 6-0 at No. 2 doubles, while Enzo Barauna and Max Kirmayr shut out Alonzo Rivera and Dev Agrawal 6-0 at No. 3 doubles. The No. 1 doubles match between the Pons Medina brothers and Ivan Wular/Dreek Saha was suspended at 3-3.
In singles play, Coastal Georgia won four of the five completed matches to secure the team victory. Artur Pons Medina delivered a strong performance at No. 1 singles, defeating Christos Xirokostas 6-0, 6-4.
