The match's most competitive moment came at No. 2, where Gonzalo Tano and Ivan Menendez traded sets before Menendez ultimately prevailed in a three-set battle. Leonard Daguinot also pushed his opponent hard at No. 5, winning the first set 6-2 before falling in a three-set thriller to Cruypemmimck. At No. 6, Max Kirmayr forced a second set tiebreak against Navrotchi before dropping the match, while Artur Pons Medina fell in straight sets at No. 1 to Hasenhkopf.
