BRUNSWICK, Ga. – College of Coastal Georgia softball's Rylee Mills has been named to the NFCA NAIA All-Region First Team, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Friday.

Mills becomes one of 147 student-athletes from 63 schools across the country to earn All-Region recognition, with selection to the first team placing her among the top performers in her region.

NFCA member head coaches nominate and vote for the honorees in their respective regions, making the recognition a testament to the impression Mills has made on coaches throughout the NAIA landscape.

As a first-team honoree, Mills now advances to be considered for selection to one of the two NFCA NAIA All-America teams, which will be announced on June 4.

The NFCA NAIA All-Region awards honor student-athletes across the Association's six NAIA regions, with selections divided between a first and second team. Conference Players and Pitchers of the Year who were not already voted to an All-Region squad are also added to the second team in their region, provided they were nominated by their member head coach and received votes.
