2024-25

Preston appeared in fourteen games and earned nine starting assignments during his sophomore campaign, making an immediate impact following his arrival for the spring semester. He averaged 14.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while demonstrating exceptional efficiency from beyond the arc. He shot 43.0 percent from the field and connected on a team-leading thirty-six three-pointers while converting at a 40.0 percent clip from three-point range. His offensive prowess was on full display throughout the spring as he scored in double figures seven times and reached the twenty-point plateau on two occasions. His best performance came against New College of Florida on February 8, when he exploded for a season-high twenty-six points. He also flirted with a double-double against Warner on January 25, recording twenty-five points while pulling down nine rebounds to fall just one board shy of the milestone. His ability to stretch the floor with his outside shooting and contribute on the glass made him a valuable two-way threat during his limited time on the court this season.

2021-22

He participated in twenty-one games and earned twenty starting assignments during his freshman campaign at East Georgia State College. He averaged 12.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while logging 11.4 minutes per contest. He shot 44.3 percent from the field, connecting on ninety-three of 210 attempts, and proved to be a lethal outside shooter by converting forty-four of 104 three-point attempts for 42.3 percent. At the free-throw line, he demonstrated excellent touch by converting twenty-one of twenty-four attempts for 87.5 percent. Throughout the season, he pulled down eighty-eight total rebounds, including twenty-one offensive boards, and distributed twenty-nine assists while recording fourteen steals and three blocks. He totaled 251 points on the year while maintaining an assist-to-turnover ratio of 0.9. His ability to score efficiently from all three levels and contribute on the boards established him as a promising young talent during his first collegiate season.
