Biography

Junior Season (2024-25)

Abby transferred to the University of St. Francis following two successful seasons at Parkland College. The five-foot-eight guard from Beecher, Illinois, made an immediate impact in her first season competing at the NCAA Division III level. She appeared in thirty-one games for the Fighting Saints, averaging 8.3 points per game while shooting 44.5 percent from the field and 43.3 percent from three-point range. Her best performance of the season came against Calumet on February 19, when she erupted for a season-high thirty-three points on eleven-of-twenty-seven shooting, including an impressive eleven-of-twenty-three performance from beyond the three-point arc. She also contributed six assists and three steals in that standout effort. Throughout the season, she demonstrated consistent three-point shooting ability, connecting on seventy-four of 171 attempts from distance. She proved to be a reliable free-throw shooter as well, converting thirteen of nineteen attempts for 68.4 percent. On the boards, she pulled down seventy-two rebounds, including thirty-two offensive rebounds, and recorded her season-high eight rebounds against Olivet Nazarene on February 28. She also showcased her playmaking ability by distributing twenty-five assists while recording twenty-nine steals on the defensive end. As a Business Analytics major, she successfully transitioned from junior college to four-year competition and established herself as a valuable scoring threat for the Fighting Saints.

Sophomore Season (2023-24)

During her sophomore campaign at Parkland College, she participated in thirty-three games and earned starting assignments in all of them. She demonstrated significant growth across all statistical categories while averaging 13.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game across 27.7 minutes per contest. Her offensive production increased substantially as she recorded 166 field goals on 387 attempts for a shooting percentage of 42.9 percent. From beyond the three-point arc, she connected on thirty-eight of 123 attempts for a 30.9 percent conversion rate. She reached double-digit scoring on twelve occasions throughout the season and achieved her season-high output of twenty-six points against Lincoln Land on February 24, shooting sixty-one percent from the field and converting four of six three-point attempts. Her most impressive stretch came during the postseason, where she maintained consistent scoring and helped lead her team through the conference tournament. She also demonstrated improved playmaking ability by distributing 108 assists while recording sixty-one steals on the defensive end. Her well-rounded contributions included fourteen blocks and the ability to maintain an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.1. She proved to be a durable and reliable presence throughout the season, playing double-digit minutes in all but one game.

Freshman Season (2022-23)

As a freshman, she appeared in twenty-eight games and earned seventeen starting assignments while beginning to establish herself in the program. She averaged 6.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game while logging 21.7 minutes per contest. She shot 40.5 percent from the field and 31.5 percent from three-point range. Her most productive period occurred during November, when she averaged 9.8 points per game and shot 46.5 percent from the field. She recorded her season-high fourteen points against Olney Central on November 16, connecting on four of six three-point attempts. Her defensive intensity was evident as she recorded thirty-nine steals throughout the season, averaging 1.4 steals per game. She demonstrated versatility by contributing fifty-two assists while pulling down seventy-one rebounds, including thirty-seven offensive rebounds. Her ability to impact the game in multiple facets provided a foundation for continued development. She proved particularly effective in road contests, where she averaged 7.3 points per game compared to 5.3 points in home games, demonstrating poise in challenging environments.
