Brunswick, Ga- After a two game losing streak on the road, men's basketball desperately needed a win. Improving to 9-5, the Mariners secured just that in their 85-74 victory over Keiser. Leading by 2 at half time, the Mariners stayed in front and capitalized off of the Seahawk's lack of defensive effort coming out of the half.
BY THE NUMBERS
Layton Veon with a career high of 26 points led the Mariners and added 7 rebounds.
Kaden McArthur established his career high of 17 as well and added 5 assists.
Salle Wilson almost recorded a double-double with 15 points and 9 boards.
Nick Jiles was able to add 14 points in his first half performance in which he also scored his 1500th career point.
