Brunswick, Ga- Coastal women's basketball now 6-10 took a 69-86 loss to Southeastern on Saturday afternoon. Shooting nearly 50% from the tray, the Fire were successful on 13 three point attempts in which almost half of their points stemmed from. The Mariners knew for a fact that the Fire was an excellent three-point shooting team. They had a plan in which they fought very hard to follow however, Southeastern capitalized off of any open shots that they were given to pull off this win over Coastal.
BY THE NUMBERS
The Mariners were led by guard,
Morgon Webb who finished with 23 points. Webb played her role and answered back every chance that she could going 5 for 9 from the three.
Ja'Khyla Johnson was very energetic and played intense finishing with 12 points and 5 steals.
D'Auzhanay Harden added 10 points.
