BRUNSWICK, Ga. - The Sun Conference has announced all its 2024-25 Winter Academic All-Conference honorees sponsored by Barnes & Noble College.
Qualifications for the honor are:
 1. The student must have been enrolled for two full semesters or more
 2. The student must have a cumulative of at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale.
For the Mariners, women's basketball's Iesha Rhodin and men's basketball's David Felix joined the list of CCGA student-athletes to be recognized for their contributions not only on the court but in the classroom as well. Rhodin, who is now a two time honoree, maintains her 4.0 GPA as a General Business major while Felix earns his first All-Academic Team award as the senior is posting a 3.6 GPA as a Psychology major.Â
Both the men's and women's basketball teams are back in action this weekend as they travel to Sarasota, Fla. to take on the New College of Florida Mighty Banyan. The women will tip off at 5:00 p.m. followed by the men at 7:00 p.m.Â
