BRUNSWICK, Ga. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced their nominees for NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athletes, and 12 Mariner student athletes have met the criteria to be named Scholar Athletes. 
 
To qualify as a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Additionally, the student-athlete must appear on the eligibility certificate for their sport and have attended one full academic year at their institution.
