YPSILANTI, Mich. - The College of Coastal Georgia women's golf team was unable to survive the 36 hole cut as they finished round two with a second round 309, but Carlin Paulk will remain in the field as one of the four individuals allowed to carry on not on an advancing team in the tournament.
Paulk fired a two over 74 in her second round and currently sits in 11th place. Rounding out the rest of the team, Elise Forberg finished with a 77, Madelyn Taylor fired a 78, Laura Kate Kessler finished with an 80, and Claire Wickes rounded out the scoring with a 13 over par performance.
As a team, the Mariners will finish the National Tournament in 19th place after missing the cut line by 11 strokes. Should Paulk hang on to her 11th place, it would be the best finish by a Mariner at the National Tournament since 2016.
Paulk will tee off for round three tomorrow morning from Eagle Crest Golf Club.
