Antonio Juarbe Named Sun Conference Men's Golfer of the Week

Tampa, Fl. – College of Coastal Georgia senior Antonio Juarbe has been recognized by the Sun Conference as the league's week six Men's Golfer of the Week. A Jesup-native, Juarbe finished tied for 11th out of 74 golfers at the Bojangles Invitational, hosted by Tennessee Wesleyan, at the Links at Kahite in Vonore, Tennessee.

Juarbe finished at +7 for the three-round tournament overall, but rallied for an even-par and +1 finish in rounds two and three. He was one of just four golfers at the entire event to finish the last two rounds at +1 or better. In round two, Juarbe recorded three birdies, while compiling three more birdies and an eagle on hole 13 in round three. It was his second eagle of the tournament as Juarbe opened play with a hole one eagle in round one.

"Antonio had another good tournament, he came close to being top five," explained CCGA men's golf head coach Mike Cook, a member of the NAIA Hall of Fame. "He's a solid player."

Already, Juarbe has established himself as one of the premier golfers in Coastal Georgia history. He is a three-time NAIA All-American, was named the 2026 Sun Conference Golfer of the Year and was selected a finalist for the 2026 Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year award. Juarbe was ranked as the number one men's golfer individually during the 2025-2026.
