MARIETTA, Ga.- The Coastal Georgia women's basketball team (1-11, 0-4) fell to Life University (8-3, 2-2) by a score of 89-59 on Saturday.

The Mariners were led by Joyce Jordan who recorded a game-high 27 points and 13 rebounds. Sonia Forney scored 13 points as Kelsey Leedle and Azaria Varnado combined for 14 points to round out the major scorers for the Mariners.

Jordan's 27 points also marks a new career-high for the senior.

Life got a big game out of Fapou Semebene who lead the team with 17 points while also grabbing four rebounds and recording six steals.

Turnovers again hurt the Mariners as the Eagles recorded 41 points off 33 Coastal Georgia giveaways.

UP NEXT: The Mariners will get to enjoy their winter break and do not play again until Dec. 29 when they face Kennesaw State in Kennesaw, Ga.
