Women's Basketball Drops Game to Knights

LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Coastal Georgia women's basketball team (1-2) lost its first game of the SSAC/SUN Challenge on Thursday afternoon to Middle Georgia State 63-50.

The Knights (1-1) got revenge on a Mariners team that beat them two days earlier in Brunswick. They shot 30 percent from three after shooting just 11.8 percent in their first matchup. 

Middle Georgia also won the rebound battle this time around, grabbing 39 of them to the Mariners 34.

BY THE NUMBERS- UP NEXT: Coastal will be back in action again tomorrow at 2 p.m. as they play Life University in their final game of the SSAC/SUN Challenge.
