Mariners Drop Game to Life University

Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Coastal Georgia women's basketball team (1-3) lost to Life University (3-1) by a score of 60-90 in the final day of the SSAC/SUN Challenge.

The Mariners turnover woes continued and the Running Eagles capitalized on them to the tune of 26 points off Coastal Georgia's turnover.

Coastal was led by Jasmin Worsley who finished with 13 points and Kelsey Leedle who recorded nine. Worsley shot a nice 50 percent from the field and went 7-9 from the free throw line.

Morgon Webb added six points as Iesha Rhodin, Brinyia Rolax, Andranique Voorhies and D'Auzhanay Harden all had five points. Voorhies had a solid outing on defense as well, grabbing a game-high 10 rebounds, blocking two shots and getting a steal.

Madison Aguilera and Nia Lawrence recorded four points and Victoria Hickman drilled a late three to round out the major scorers for the Mariners.

UP NEXT: The Mariners will face Middle Georgia State for the third and final time this season in Macon, Ga. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 5:30 p.m.
