Brunswick, Ga- Men's basketball (projected last in the pre-season poll) secured a win that was unexpected to many versus St. Thomas who was projected no.1. The Mariners started off as what appeared to be a shaky and uncomfortable start but later, brought out a huge spark in the second half. Patience, defensive stops, and flipping the switch on offense led to Coastal's 73-82 win over the Bobcats.
