JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - The College of Coastal Georgia women's golf team held their spot in the final round of the Sun Conference tournament as they finished in third place after a third round 304 to round out the tournament.
CCGA got two top 10 finishes in the tournament as Madelyn Taylor finished in sixth place after a two over while Elise Forberg finished in seventh place while also shooting two over. Carlin Paulk shot the low round of the afternoon for CCGA with a 73, highlighted by an ace on the par three 17th hole. Laura Kate Kessler finished in 18th place while Claire Wickes finished in 23rd place.
Keiser won the tournament over SCAD-Savannah by seven strokes. CCGA, Southeastern, and St Thomas rounded out the top five.
The Mariners will now wait and see if they receive an at large bid to the NAIA National Tournament.
