YPSILANTI, Mich. - After 18 holes of the NAIA National Championship, the College of Coastal Georgia women's golf team currently sits in 21st place going into cut day.
CCGA was led by Carlin Paulk in round one who fired a three over 75 to begin the tournament, followed by Madelyn Taylor who shot four over. Paulk sits inside the top 10 individually in 10th place while Taylor sits in 20th place. Elise Forberg finished 15 over, Laura Kate Kessler finished 16 over, and Claire Wickes shot 21 over to wrap up round one.Â
British Columbia finished day one in front of the pack at nine over par as Marian, Keiser, Milligan, and SCAD-Savannah rounded out the top five.Â
The Mariners need to move into the top 15 tomorrow to remain past the cut line, with CCGA currently behind 15th place by eight strokes. Â
