BRUNSWICK, Ga. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released their list of men's golf All-Americans with Antonio Juarbe being named to the third team for the second consecutive season.
Juarbe competed in 25 total rounds for the Mariners as a sophomore, posting a scoring average of 71.7 while only finishing outside the top 15 one time on the season which came at the Battle on March 24-25. The Jesup native finished inside the top five four times on the season including a pair of second place finishes at the CCGA Fall Invitational and the Sun Conference Championships. Juarbe was also named First Team All-Sun Conference and PING NAIA All-Region earlier this season.Â
Juarbe becomes just the eighth golfer in school history to become a two time All-American, joining a list that includes George Langham, Chip Thompson, Jackson Lawlor, Eli Scott, Mark David Johnson, Allen Bradford, and Dylan Freeman.Â
