BRUNSWICK, Ga. - Cobalt Golf and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) have released their selections for the 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All American Scholars, with four Mariners from the men's golf program being selected.
Finley Burke, Antonio Juarbe, Bo Shuler, and Lee Smith were all awarded the honor for their performance on the course as well as in the classroom. To be nominated as an All-American Scholar, athletes must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically, participate in 50% of their teams competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NAIA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career GPA of 3.2. Recipients must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
Coastal Georgia was one of five institutions in the NAIA to have four or more recipients of the All-American Scholar award.
