College of Coastal Georgia Men's Golf Head Coach
Mike Cook has been inducted into the
NAIA Hall of Fame, recognizing a career defined by excellence and impact over 15 seasons with the
Mariners.
Cook has guided CCGA to
11 consecutive NAIA National Championship appearances, including
back-to-back national titles in 2014 and 2015, and a
runner-up finish in 2019. His leadership has helped shape CCGA into a perennial national contender.
Beyond tournament success, Cook has had a profound influence on his athletes. He coached the
2019 NAIA National Player of the Year, and many of his players have gone on to compete professionally. His student-athletes have earned:
- 12 GCAA All-American Scholar honors
- 26 NAIA All-American selections
- 24 PING NAIA All-American honors
- 32 PING All-Region awards
- 40 All-Conference selections
He is also a
two-time NAIA Coach of the Year.
To qualify for Hall of Fame induction, coaches must have at least 15 seasons of head coaching experience — 10 within the NAIA — and make
significant contributions at the national level. Coach Cook has exceeded every standard.
The Mariners are off and running this season, finishing
third in their first tournament of the year, with more good things to come under Cook's continued leadership.
