BRUNSWICK, Ga. – With double-digit kills from four Mariners, Coastal Georgia volleyball came back to take a 3-1 match from Warner on Wednesday evening at Coffin Gym.

Kyra White, Molly Fletcher, Addie Pedraza and Azure Werner accounted for 55 of the Mariners' 62 kills for the match. White and Fletcher paced Coastal Georgia with 18 and 17 kills, respectively. Both Pedraza and Werner each had 10 kills.

Ashley Kot recorded a 52-assist, 15-dig double-double, while Yorelis Rios Gonzalez made 25 digs.

Coastal Georgia hit .236 for the match.

Warner stormed back behind a significant run to take an 18-17 lead. Coastal Georgia went up 21-20 on a White kill, but Warner answered with a 5-1 run to close out the set.

In a close second set, Coastal Georgia trailed by one late, but another White kill and then a Warner attack error allowed the Mariners to take a 23-22 lead. Although Warner tied it on the next point, a kill from Werner and a Royal attack error allowed Coastal Georgia to capture the second set and even the match at 1-1.

Coastal Georgia prevailed late in the third set. Tied at 22-all, the Mariners finished the set on a 3-0 run. White scored two of those points on kills while Lauren Stillman clinched the set-winning point on a service ace.

The Mariners finished the match with a strong fourth and final set, hitting .500.  Coastal Georgia had 20 kills in that set alone. Coastal Georgia went up by as many as eight as a kill from Alexis Downey moved the Mariners to 24-16. Coastal Georgia ultimately won the set and the match on another Warner attack error.

Coastal Georgia begins a three-match road trip on Friday when the Mariners visit Florida College. Match time is set for 7 p.m.phot
