Mariners Fall Despite Paula Perez Rosales Career-High 17 Kills

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla.- The Coastal Georgia volleyball team (8-12(0-6)) fell 3-0 to Florida Memorial (9-5(5-4)) on Sunday.

The Lions won by scores of 25-21, 25-9 and 25-23 led by freshman outside hitter Caroline Souza who recorded 12 kills on 25 attempts.

The Mariners were led offensively by Paula Perez Rosales who recorded a career-high 17 kills. Perez Rosales continues to impress in her freshman campaign as she recorded a .364 hitting percentage and tacked on seven digs.

Rebecca Brown recorded 26 assists as she facilitated the offense and Chantiya Johnson recorded seven kills of her own.
