BRUNSWICK, Ga. – After nearly two weeks off, the 12th ranked Coastal Georgia men's tennis team returns to action this weekend, taking on Ave Maria on Sunday at 1 p.m. before traveling to Florida National for a 12 p.m. start on Monday.

The Mariners (4-4) defeated Georgetown on their home courts last time out by a 6-1 final. Adrien Guye and Kevin Leuenberger played superb doubles tennis in the match, and will look to remain hot against a pair of Sunshine State opponents. Felix Arroyo Viglino and Gonzalo Tano won their doubles point last time out as well, building some much-needed momentum going into conference play.

In singles play, Guye, Leuenberger, and Viglino all can compete with any given opponent on any given day, but Aymeric Bruno was the star against Georgetown losing just one point and winning in convincing fashion. The second team all-conference player has been playing like it recently, and provides stability in the middle of the singles lineup, usually holding down the No. 3 line.

For Florida National, they come in following a 4-1 loss to Ave Maria back on February 28, and will take on SCAD-Savannah before the Mariners. Ignacio Acosta usually handles the No. 1 line for singles play, but has yet to win a match this season. Guido Gentile at No. 2 singles has picked up some key wins for the team, most recently defeating Juanfer Contreras of Palm Beach Atlantic by a 6-3 6-4 final. This meeting with Florida National will be the first meeting between these two schools in school history.

For the Gyrenes (3-5, 2-1 TSC), they come in following a 4-1 victory over Warner with their match with SCAD being postponed. Gaston Erhardt won his last singles match at the No. 1 position convincingly by a 6-2 6-3 final. Tom Alias and Pedro Garcia also dominated their singles lines as well, presenting a tough challenge for the Mariners.

First serve is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday followed by 12 p.m. on Monday
