STATESBORO, Ga. - It was a final round of 333 for the College of Coastal Georgia women's golf team as they finished in ninth place at the South Georgia Invitational in Statesboro on Tuesday afternoon.
It was tough shooting for all five Mariners, as all five finished with rounds in the 80's with three Mariners finishing inside the top 30. Elise Forberg was the top finisher for CCGA as she shot nine over in round two to finish 24th, while Laura Kate Kessler and Madelyn Taylor also finished 27th and 29th respectively. Claire Wickes finished 15 over on the day for a 45th place finish, and Carlin Paulk rounded out the scoring with a 15 over performance to finish 50th.

It's a quick turnaround for the Mariners as they travel to USCB for the Oldfield Intercollegiate next week in Okatie, S.C.
