Brunswick, Ga. – Head coach Katie Novak-Lenoir and the College of Coastal Georgia women's basketball team has announced their 2026-2027 roster and schedule.
 
The Mariners, in Novak-Lenoir's first season with the program, will feature a roster led by four seniors in Taylor Blackshear, Niya Moon, Amanda Roach and Peyton Shafer. Blackshear, Moon and junior Alli Stone all averaged double figures in scoring a year ago, with junior Hadiya Kennedy not far behind. In addition to averaging 11.1 points per game scoring this past season, Blackshear led the team with 6.6 rebounds per game, 99 steals, 88 assists and nine blocks. Additionally, Novak-Lenoir's debut Coastal Georgia side will also feature three college transfers, three redshirt freshman and one true freshman.
 
Coastal Georgia will begin the Novak-Lenoir era by hosting Life University on Saturday, October 24^th at noon at Howard Coffin Gym. Among other highlights, the Mariners will play a full home-and-away slate versus Sun Conference competition, host the Coastal Christmas Classic on December 17^th and 18^th and play exhibitions against NCAA Division I opponents Georgia Southern University and the University of North Florida.
