AVE MARIA, Fla. – The College of Coastal Georgia Women's Tennis team fell to the No. 20 ranked Ave Maria Gyrenes 2-5.

Doubles:

• Eva Rubio and Marianela Landi lost the no. 1 singles line 2-6 to Lara Teodoro and Julia Candiotto of Ave Maria.
• Rocio Arraya and Caitlyn Napier were also bested 2-6 by the pair of Gyrenes.
• Azul Malatini and Molly McManus lost 1-6 against Aethielle Kelkboom and Katie Fuller.

Singles:

• At line one, Rubio fell to her opponent 4-6 in both sets.
• Landi got one of the two wins for the Mariner team. She won her line in three sets. She lost the first 5-7 and won the next two 6-2, 6-1.
• Napier lost at line three. She fell to Gabrielle Benn 2-6 and 1-6.
• At the fourth singles line, Arraya got the victory in three sets. She lost 7-6, and won 6-2 and 10-8.
• Malatini lost at line five 2-6 and 1-6 against the Gyrene's Katie Fuller.
• McManus lost 1-6 in both sets in the singles six line.
